Empat Tokoh Indonesia Masuk 50 Muslim Paling Berpengaruh Di Dunia

YORDANIA – Empat nama asal Indonesia masuk dalam daftar 50 orang tokoh muslim paling berpengaruh di dunia versi The Muslim 500: The World’s 500 Most Influential Muslims.

Penghargaan yang digelar oleh The Royal Islamic Strategic Studies Centre bekerja sama dengan The Royal Aal al-Bayt Institute for Islamic Thought, Yordania ini sudah memasuki edisi kedelapan.

Dari 50 nama-nama teratas para pimpinan negara, tokoh agama, tokoh politik, sosial, budaya, akademisi, pengusaha, ilmuwan, seniman, atlet hingga tokoh ekstremis Muslim, Indonesia mampu memasukkan empat nama.

Ketua Umum PBNU, KH Said Aqil Siradj masuk di posisi 20 – lebih tinggi dari beberapa presiden negara muslim. Bahkan ulama populer Dr Yusuf Al Qaradawi pun berada di urutan 31.

Selain Said Aqil, Presiden Joko Widodo sebagai pemimpin negara dengan penduduk mayoritas Muslim terbesar di dunia berada di urutan ke 13. Tokoh Indonesia lainnya yang masuk dalam 50 besar jajaran tokoh Islam berpengaruh Prof Din Syamsuddin  di urutan 41 dan Habib Luthfi bin Yahya di urutan 45.

“Penobatan Ketua Umum PBNU sebagai salah satu tokoh paling berpengaruh di dunia ini sekaligus membuktikan dunia membutuhkan Islam yang ramah (toleran), inklusif dan damai sebagaimana dipraktikkan NU selama ini – atau biasa disebut Islam Nusantara,” ujar Robikin Emhas, ketua PBNU, sebagaimana dirilis oleh Times Indonesia, 10 Oktober 2016.

Berikut urutan 50 tokoh muslim berpengaruh di dunia;
